In November 2021, the Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen officially opened its doors. Following an opening ceremony attended by none other than His Majesty the King, the world’s first publicly accessible art storage facility became a reality.

MARC was commissioned to provide entertainment for this exceptional occasion. One of our most striking signature acts, the Vertical Walldance, proved to be the perfect fit. At the press of the King’s red button, five vertical dancers performed along the façade of the iconic Rotterdam landmark, transforming the building itself into a stage. The result was a visually spectacular live performance that captured the attention of both guests and media.
